Cartier
Tank Américaine
Few watches reinterpret the Tank DNA as boldly as the Tank Américaine. Introduced in the 1990s as a more modern and assertive evolution of the classic Tank, the Américaine distinguishes itself through its elongated, curved rectangular case, designed to follow the contour of the wrist and give the watch a stronger presence.
This reference 1713, is made in 18k white gold, is presented as a full set, purchased in 2001 in Trieste.
The classic white dial with Roman numerals is in excellent condition, with the chemin de fer minute track and blued hands perfectly preserved. The case itself presents very well, retaining its original lines and the elegant curve that defines the Américaine silhouette. The watch is currently fitted with an aftermarket strap but, crucially, retains its original 18k white gold Cartier buckle, a significant and desirable detail that elevates the overall configuration and confirms the quality of the set.
A beautifully preserved Tank Américaine in its most precious metal, offered complete with its original documentation and buckle.
