ntroduced in 1977, the Must de Cartier line reinterpreted the Tank for a new generation, replacing solid gold with vermeil while keeping every proportion and detail faithful to the original Art Deco design. Conceived as a more accessible gateway into the Cartier universe, it never diluted the model’s identity, and today it remains one of the most recognisable and wearable expressions of the Tank shape.

This example comes in the large 23x30mm size and is fitted with the blue dial, one of the most characterful Must colourways. Over time the lacquer has developed its distinctive crackle pattern named ‘spider’ that adds real depth to the dial.

The case is in excellent condition, with the engravings still remarkably sharp and the gold plating preserved throughout. The glass shows some scratches. It is currently fitted with a generic strap and buckle, and is offered as watch only.
